#FITNESS: it means so much more than aesthetics. men want muscles but lift aimlessly… and you ladies think throwing on a waist trainer|corset belt for a ‘quick fix’ may give you that small waist and big ass, but it’s at the risk of hurting your bodies… how is your posture and overall musculoskeletal health? we as a society spend so much time on computers, smart phones, lead stressful lives—yet we still strive to create our ‘ideal body type’—but, unbeknownst to us, we’re only building further dysfunction. carpel tunnel syndrome, kyphotic posture, scoliosis, tense muscles, suffering from neck, back and leg pain… what good is aesthetics if you FEEL fucked up?
meet NASM certified personal trainer & wellness coach: @b_soulful. his passion is fitness for the MIND and BODY. he’s also my best friend and business partner, and we genuinely want to help YOU achieve your desired body. but in order to do that, you need great posture to recruit muscles properly to achieve your fitness goals, lose weight, and sculpt your body. If you’re suffering from stress, poor posture, or your body is in pain, it’s going to be difficult to build the body you want. @b_soulful could help create an ideal plan for you. please follow him for fitness tips, a free consultation, and innovative exercise routines that you could do at home!

so, i recently dislocated a rib (long story) and the discomfort is beginning to increase. can’t workout til I get doctor’s clearance, so pinot grigio and @wwe network has been keepin’ me company while i’m healin’ up. i can’t do too much of anything but rest, ‘restlessly’—(even tho i’m technically still doing way too much for my own good!) i’ve always been a huge #wwe fan since i was a kid and still get excited when it comes on ☺️ don’t judge me lol! any other wwe fans out there? despite being injured and sore, i still manage to try to get my ‘glam’ on lol! — that highlight tho! 😂😜💄💋

embrace your inner goddess. harness your depth and emotional wisdom. revel in your own strength and utilize the power bestowed upon you as a beautiful deity… life is far too profound to let yourself be mediocre.

Take a glimpse into the Opulent Lifestyle of Ancient Roman Society… My visit to the Pompeii exhibit at the @CaliforniaScienceCenter was truly remarkable. If you’re in California, this exhibit is truly worth witnessing for yourself. Here are only a few photos I took out of the150+ priceless artifacts that were on display. From garden frescoes and marble statues to gladiator armor, coins and currency to religious altars and shrines — all set in their original surroundings — experience daily life in this once vibrant Roman city. I’ll be posting a few more photos of the body casts soon.

Photo of me at the California Science Center: Pompeii Exhibit. This was one of the most extraordinary cultural exhibits I’ve been to! I got to see over 150 precious artifacts (on loan from the Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy), which offer a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle and tragic end of this ancient Roman society forgotten for centuries until its rediscovery. If you’re looking for a profound cultural experience, I recommend you visit there soon! I’ll share more photos of the exhibit soon. @californiasciencecenter
